Quorum turns meeting recordings into written minutes. This policy explains what data the app handles, where it goes, and the choices you have. In short: Whyme Labs does not collect, receive or sell your data.
Recordings, and any audio you import, are stored on your iPhone. Transcription uses Apple's on-device speech recognition, and separating who said what uses an on-device speaker model. Quorum never uploads your audio anywhere.
To write the minutes, Quorum sends the following to the AI provider you select in Settings (OpenRouter, OpenAI or Anthropic):
This goes directly from your device to the provider, using your own API key. It does not pass through any Whyme Labs server. The provider processes it under its own terms and privacy policy, which you can find on its website, and you should review them before use.
Each is optional and can be changed any time in iOS Settings. Some features will not work without them.
Your key is stored in the iOS Keychain on your device and is used only to contact the provider you selected. Whyme Labs never sees it.
If iCloud is enabled for the app, meeting transcripts and minutes sync between your own devices through your private iCloud account. Whyme Labs cannot access them. Recordings are not synced.
Your data stays until you delete it. Deleting a meeting in the app removes its recording, transcript and minutes from your device and, through iCloud, from your other devices. Deleting the app removes the data stored on that device. Text already sent to an AI provider is kept or deleted according to that provider's own policy, so contact them if you want it removed.
Quorum is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Some places require everyone's consent before a conversation is recorded. You are responsible for making sure you have it.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
